Sorted & Separated
Gryffindor - it is fate, it is right, it is me. How foolish of me to think something as simple as colour preference and desire to be in my sister's house could fool the Sorting Hat! It is true, I am a Gryffindor by nature, proud of it, and shall valiantly support our great house in this swap.
I am by now accustomed to separation from my dear twin Emma Wigworthy. It was a policy adopted in our previous schools to maintain the teachers' sanity - we were called "the terrible twins" for good reason, frequently in trouble for our naughty pranks (very like the Weasley twins).
On one occasion we swapped classes for a wizard wheeze, and totally fooled the teacher, despite the fact that Emma is left-handed and I am right-handed! And we often gleefully offered "you must mean my sister" whenever accosted in the corridor by a teacher on the warpath. We were one of 3 sets of identical twins in our school year, and we all had great fun with it, joyfully comparing notes on our various victories over the staff.
There have of course been several embarassing moments of mistaken identity, and Mr Wigworthy still blushes when reminded of the time he mistook me for Emma early on in their relationship, when every encounter between them was charged with passion - fortunately my wonderful Mr Wychwood found it to be hilarious too!
Goodness, look at the time, and the children not yet in bed - must dash...!!!
